BOTOX® is a kind of protein that makes your muscles relax. By a simple treatment, you can see that all the wrinkles have disappeared from your Face. It is performed to eliminate or minimize the appearance of wrinkles and other signs of aging. By simply hiding wrinkles by partially relax the muscles of the face, may actually make skin more elastic and more resistant to wrinkles. BOTOX® relax the muscles in your face to smooth outlines and wrinkles, such as Crow’s feet or the lines surrounding the corners of the eyes, Frown lines or the deep creases that develop between the eyebrows. BOTOX® is probably the safest way to get rid of wrinkles. It is a natural compound that is completely temporary (it lasts up to 6 months) with no severe side effects. It is injected directly into the muscle. A spasm is when your muscle contracts or moves on its own. It feels like twitching. BOTOX®, is a protein (Botulinum toxin) that stops muscle spasms. It is made from a neurotoxin called botulinum toxin produced by Clostridium botulinum bacteria.

BOTOX® has no severe side effects on health. After the application, there might be temporary swelling, bruising, or drooping of the eyelid, which is very rare. However, immediately after the operation, you can easily keep up with your daily routine. When someone is receiving too much treatment with anti-wrinkle injections, the skin can become extremely smooth and the light bounces off in a uniform way. So, the skin appears shiny, which is why it can look ‘frozen’ BOTOX® blocks nerve signals to muscles. As a result, injected muscles can’t contract (tense up). These effects are always temporary, but can last for several months. The muscle injected depends on the primary area of concern. Several areas can be treated in one session.

When BOTOX® is injected into the patient’s Face, it relaxes the contraction of facial muscles by blocking nerve impulses. Since these muscles will no longer be able to contract, the Face relaxes and softens and reduces wrinkles and creases in the skin. BOTOX® is a protein (Botulinum toxin) that stops muscle spasms. Most common brands used currently are BOTOX® and Dysport. They are both fine brands and ensure a safe treatment. There are also many miscellaneous brands which may not be FDA approved and they are not recommended. In Dr. Abedini’s clinic we only use the two safe brands.
